Step 1 - Allocate Attributes
Spend your 7 points across the four Attributes. Maximum 3 points in any single Attribute. The class bonus in Step 4 adds +1 to one Attribute.
| 0 | Very Poor | Even moderate tasks require help or skill investment to have average odds. |
| 1 | Average | Decent odds on routine tasks; hard tasks require help or skill investment to maintain those odds. |
| 2 | Good | Capable on most tasks, even hard ones, as long as you invest in relevant skills. |
| 3 | Great | Can take on hard tasks without heavy skill investment, though extreme tasks still pose a challenge. |
| 4 | Natural | Can handle most tasks, even extreme ones, with a bit of help or skill investment. |
| 5 | Grand | Capable of dealing with extreme tasks with little skill investment. |
| 6 | Legendary | With some help or skill investment, even near-impossible tasks are within reach. |
Step 2 - Select Starting Skills
Pick 5 Skills to set at Rank 1. Your Class will add additional Skill bonuses in Step 4.
Step 3 - Choose a Lineage
Your Lineage determines your size, Speed, languages, and special traits.
Step 4 - Choose a Class
Your Class grants an Attribute bonus, Skill bonuses, and determines which Specialties you can pick.
Step 5 - Choose a Specialty
Your Specialty is your playstyle within your Class. You cannot change it later.
Step 6 - Starting Gear & Currency
Your Specialty determines the gear and currency you begin the game with.
Step 7 - Create a Lifepath
Click a row to select it, or type your own. These shape your character's backstory.
Step 8 - Status Points
Your stats are calculated automatically from your Attributes.
Step 9 - Record Talents
Write down the Talents gained from your Lineage, Specialty, and any General Talents you've selected. These appear on page 3 of your character sheet.
Step 10 - Character Details
Fill in your character's name, appearance, and starting gear.
